Magnetic Media
One of the most convenient way to transfer data from one computer to another, even before the birth of networking, was to save it on some storage media and transfer physical from one station to another. Though it may seem odd in today’s world of high speed Internet, but when the size of data to transfer is huge, Magnetic media comes into play.

For an example, say a Bank has Gigs of bytes of their customers’ data which stores a backup copy of it at some geographically far place for security and uncertain reasons like war or tsunami. If the Bank needs to store its copy of data which is Hundreds of GBs, transfer through Internet is not feasible way. Even WAN links may not support such high speed or if they do cost will be too high to afford.

In these kinds of cases, data backup is stored onto magnetic tapes or magnetic discs and then shifted physically at remote places.

Twisted Pair Cable

A twisted pair cable is made of two plastic insulated copper wires twisted together to form a single media. Out of these two wires only one carries actual signal and another is used for ground reference. The twists between wires is helpful in reducing noise (electro-magnetic interference) and crosstalk.

There are two types of twisted pair cables available:

  • Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) Cable
  • Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Cable
  • STP cables comes with twisted wire pair covered in metal foil. This makes it more indifferent to noise and crosstalk.

UTP has seven categories, each suitable for specific use. In computer networks, Cat-5, Cat-5e and Cat-6 cables are mostly used. UTP cables are connected by RJ45 connectors.

  • Coaxial Cable
  • Coaxial cables has two wires of copper. The core wire lies in center and is made of solid conductor. Core is enclosed in an insulating sheath. Over the sheath the second wire is wrapped around and that too in turn encased by insulator sheath. This all is covered by plastic cover.

Because of its structure coax cables are capable of carrying high frequency signals than that of twisted pair cables. The wrapped structure provides it a good shield against noise and cross talk. Coaxial cables provide high bandwidth rates of up to 450 mbps.

There are three categories of Coax cables namely, RG-59 (Cable TV), RG-58 (Thin Ethernet) and RG-11 (Thick Ethernet. RG stands for Radio Government.

Cables are connected using BNC connector and BNC-T. BNC terminator is used to terminate the wire at the far ends.

Power Lines
Power Line communication is Layer-1 (Physical Layer) technology which uses power cables to transmit data signals. Send in PLC modulates data and sent over the cables. The receiver on the other end de-modulates the data and interprets.

Because power lines are widely deployed, PLC can make all powered devices controlled and monitored. PLC works in half-duplex.

Two types of PLC exists:
  • Narrow band PLC
  • Broad band PLC

Narrow band PLC provides lower data rates up to 100s of kbps, as they work at lower frequencies (3-5000 kHz). But can be spread over several kilometers.

Broadband PLC provides higher data rates up to 100s of Mbps and works at higher frequencies (1.8 – 250 MHz). But cannot be much extended as Narrowband PLC.

Fiber Optics
Fiber Optic works on the properties of light. When light ray hits at critical angle it tends to refracts at 90 degree. This property has been used in fiber optic. The core of fiber optic cable is made of high quality glass or plastic. From one end of it light is emitted, it travels through it and at the other end light detector detects light stream and converts it to electric data form.

Fiber Optic provides the highest mode of speed. It comes in two modes, one is single mode fiber and second is multimode fiber. Single mode fiber can carries single ray of light whereas multimode is capable of carrying multiple beams of light.

okay thats all for us to connect to internet
okay bye!!

TYPES OF CHOCOLATE AUMM!!!

DARK CHOCOLATE

Dark chocolate is also known as sweet, semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate, depending on the chocolate liquor:sugar ratio. Dark chocolate is an eating chocolate that contains 15% to 35% chocolate liquor plus cocoa butter, vanilla, sugar or other sweetener and usually, lecithin as an emulsifier.  When expressed as a percentage of cacao on a bar wrapper, dark chocolate has a 50% or higher cacao content. Percentages of 70% or higher are classified as bittersweet chocolate. Who decides if a bar is 50%, 65%, 70% or other cacao percentage? It depends on how the particular cacao bean or blend best expresses itself and what the manufacturer wants to sell (or, what customers want to buy).

DARK MILK CHOCOLATE
A new category of chocolate which is milk chocolate with a higher than normal percentage of cacao, which gives these chocolates the deep flavor of a semisweet bar with the extra milkiness of a milk chocolate bar. Slitti, an Italian producer, makes a magnificent line called Lattenero (“dark milk”) in 45%, 51%, 62% and 70% cacao. The 70% bar, shown at right, looks as dark as any 70% cacao bar, but contains 2% milk solids so is actually milk chocolate. It has the milky flavor and smoothness without the sugary sweetness, because it is still 70% cacao, 27% sugar and 1% vanilla; whereas the 45% bar is a more traditional milk chocolate recipe with more sugar than cacao. See our reviews of the best chocolate.
DECORATION
The finishing stage of creating a bonbon or praline, where special patterns, halved walnuts or other nut embellishment, piped gianduja, etc. are added to the tops of the chocolates.

DEODORIZATION
A manufacturing process where the cocoa butter’s characteristic chocolate flavors are removed. While quality companies deodorize their cocoa butter to manufacture characteristic white chocolate, this process enables lesser companies to use poor quality and alkali-treated beans, which would produce unpleasant cocoa butter if not deodorized. See cocoa butter.

DESIGNATED ORIGIN CHOCOLATE
Chocolate made from beans from a specific locale. Also called origin chocolate and single origin chocolate. See our reviews of single origin chocolate.

DIAMANT
The French word for diamond, it refers to diamond-shaped chocolates.

DIPPING
Dipping is one of the four basic methods four basic methods of coating chocolate onto a center such as a caramel, nut or fruit; it was the original method of making coated chocolates and is done by hand by artisan producers. The other methods are enrobing, panning and molding or shell molding.

DRAGÉE
Dragées (drah-ZHAY) are sugar-coated almonds, but technically they are almonds encapsulated in a hard-shell coating, which we call Jordan almonds. The almonds can also have a chocolate coating under the sugar. They are a popular wedding favor, representing good luck. The term is also used to describe (2) tiny, round balls of sugar, often coated with edible silver or gold, and used to decorate baked goods; (3) sweet medicated lozenges. The commonality is sugar-coated or sugared. In French, the word also refers to nonpareils and is slang for bullets (small shot). Dragée à la gelée de sucre is a jelly bean.
DRINKING CHOCOLATE
Drinking chocolate is a product used to make hot chocolate. It differs from cocoa powder in that it is not a finely-ground product but bits of actual hard chocolate. It can take the form of shaved chocolate, discs, pistoles or tablets. This term dates back to the invention of the chocolate bar in 1847. Prior to then, all chocolate was consumed as a beverage, and was simply called “chocolate.” With the invention of the bar, the distinction between “drinking chocolate” (which was then only cocoa powder) and “eating chocolate” was made. The term was refined later in the 19th century, when the Swiss began to shave actual chocolate bars to mixed with hot milk or water, making hot chocolate, a richer drink than hot cocoa because of the butterfat in the bar.

Delicious Coffe!! Marvelous!! Aummm

Today we are going to list down some of Popular coffee. Coz im an Cofee Heavy drinker. So here are some of them.

7 Popular Types Of Coffee

For over a thousand years, humankind has been perfecting the art of making and drinking coffee. From the first goat herder who is said to have begun dancing with his animals after eating the mysterious red berry, to the modern-day commuter savoring a wake-up cup of java, the magical coffee bean has become both an addictive necessity and a welcome treat.
Luckily for North Americans, the world's best beans are now readily available here and coffee preparation has become an art form. No longer satisfied with the swill that once passed for coffee, java junkies are experimenting with all sorts of variations of their favorite booster beverage.

Here's a look at seven of the more popular coffee drinks available at most discriminating coffee houses, and how to best enjoy them.

Espresso
Espresso is a strong black coffee made by forcing steam through dark-roast aromatic coffee beans at high pressure in an espresso machine. A perfectly brewed espresso will have a thick, golden-brown crema (foam) on the surface. If the crema is good, the sugar you add will float on the surface for a couple of seconds before slowly sinking to the bottom.
Espresso is the foundation for a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks, such as the cappuccino, but many aficionados and purists insist that adding anything (besides a bit of sugar) is blasphemy, akin to Scotch lovers mixing their single malt with Coke.

How to have it: Espresso should be taken either on its own or with a small teaspoon of sugar. Having it "short" means that it has less water and is therefore more concentrated, and "long" conversely uses more water and does not taste as strong.

Give it a twist: Adding a dollop of steamed milk creates an espresso macchiato ("macchiato" means stained or marked). Topping an espresso with whipped cream makes it an espresso con panna. Espresso corretto (which translates to "corrected") is made by adding a splash of grappa, cognac or sambuca.

Cappuccino
This hugely popular coffee drink has become a staple that even the most common of corner coffee shops carries (or at least a version of it). A true cappuccino is a combination of equal parts espresso, steamed milk and milk froth. This luxurious drink, if made properly, can double as a dessert with its complex flavors and richness.
How to have it: It is common to sprinkle your cappuccino froth with a bit of unsweetened cocoa powder or grated dark chocolate.

Give it a twist: Asking for your cap "scuro" (dark) means you want less milk than usual, while "chiaro" (light) means you want more. Iced cappuccino makes a great summer drink, and a "skinny" cappuccino is made with skim or nonfat milk.

What exactly are an Americano, a Caramel Macchiato, and all those other funky coffee drinks you've been hearing about?

Americano
An Americano is a single shot of espresso added to a cup of hot water. The name is thought to have originated as a bit of an insult to Americans, who had to dilute their espresso when it first gained popularity on this side of the pond. Many coffee houses have perfected it, however, and the result has become a creamy, rich espresso-based coffee that you can sip and savor before jumping on your Vespa and heading to the soccer field.
How to have it: Many like to drink it as they would their regular brewed coffee, with milk and/or sugar, but connoisseurs suggest keeping milk to a minimum to get the most flavor from the espresso.

Give it a twist: Americano is not commonly taken with a twist, but having it "iced" is a great treat on a hot day.

Caffe Latte
A caffe latte is a single shot of espresso to three parts of steamed milk.
How to have it: Sugar your latte to taste and discover the wonderful world of dipping. Cookies, sponge-type cake slices and even fresh Italian bread can transform your coffee into a breakfast that even my nonna (grandmother) would approve of.

Give it a twist: Not commonly taken with a twist.

Caf au Lait
This traditional French drink is similar to a caffe latte except that it is made with brewed coffee instead of espresso, in a 1:1 ratio with steamed milk. It is considered a weaker form of caffe latte.
How to have it: Sugar to taste, and it is also great for dipping.

Give it a twist: Not commonly taken with a twist.

Caf Mocha (Mochachino)
This is a cappuccino or a caffe latte with chocolate syrup or powder added. There can be wide variations in exactly how this is prepared, so ask your coffee house how they do it before you order.
How to have it: Like your "cap," you can top it with cocoa powder or grated chocolate.

Give it a twist: Garnish with whipped cream.
Caramel Macchiato
This is another variation that is prepared in a number of ways by different coffee houses. The most common method is combining espresso, caramel and foamed milk, though some use steamed milk. Often, vanilla is added to provide extra flavor.
How to have it: You can add sugar, but taste it first, as it may be sweet enough as is.

Give it a twist: Drizzled with caramel sauce, of course. This highly addictive drink needs nothing else to make it a heavenly java experience

umm i guess you guys must be mouth wattering right! yeah me too.
okay thats all bye

SPEEDING

A girl and a guy were speeding at 100 mph on a motorcycle...
Girl- Slow down, I'm scared.
Guy- No this is fun.
Girl- No it's not. Please, it's too scary!
Guy- Then tell me you love me.
Girl- Fine, I love you, Now slow down!
Guy- Now give me a big hug.
---(Girl hugs him)
Guy- Okay, can you take my helmet off and put it on? it's bugging me.
---------------------------------------------------

*In the paper the next day: A motorcycle has cashed because of a break failure. Two people were on the motorcycle but only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized his breaks weren't working, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he made her say I love you, hig him on last hug, and put on his helmet so she would live even though he knew he would die.

Story 2 :

I was walking around when i saw a cashier hand this little boy his money back, the boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll.'' The little boy turned to the old woman next to him, ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?'' She replied, ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.'' Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. 'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.' I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. 'No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.' His eyes were so sad while saying this, 'My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.'' My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said, 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.' Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me.' 'I love my mommy and I wish she didn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.' Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll!'' OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough.' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said, 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!' Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!'' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.'' 'My mommy loves white roses.' A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine, and in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him. Now you have 2 choices: (1) Reblog this (2) Ignore it as if it never touched your heart.

Story 3 :

Sad Story: Mother's letter to her Daughter.

WARNING: Don’t read. You’ll cry.

My dearest daughter,

I know you won’t come back, but I still believe that somehow you’ll find me. I can’t bare to think where you are. You could be with your friends warm and safe or you could be somewhere cold and wet. How could you expect me to tell you?
You were so pretty, in that purple dress your dad got you, with your long brown hair flowing down your back. Your black high-heels on. Yes, it was the first time you were going to a proper party; we didn’t want anything to ruin your night.
We gave you a lift in our small black BMW and dropped you off around the corner- you didn’t want people to see you being dropped off by mummy and daddy. We were going to pick you up at 11:30pm too; you begged to stay out later. I wanted you to be home by 10, but your dad persuaded me to let you out a bit longer.
You were 15 years old but still, in my eyes you were my baby, my little girl in her room playing with her dolls.
I remember when you were 12 and you came running into the kitchen, your face beamed full of happiness and joy; you squealed “I have a boyfriend!” Yes, it was your first boyfriend and you were so happy, then when it ended you were devastated. I tried my hardest to be there for you, really I did, but you were just so upset you didn’t listen to a word I said. I knew you would have lost more boyfriends and endured break-ups, but you were only little, you didn’t know what was going to happen to you as you grew up.
Then you found new friends and you didn’t care much for boys. You would go out for sleep-overs and trips to the shops and fun-fairs. Your life has been a good one, and now I feel like I should have taken you out places more often. You have always wanted me to take you to see your favourite band-Blink182, yes I remember the name! I remember when you were 9 years old and I was going to a concert to see Sting-you begged me to take you with me and so I did, and at first you hated it because we were sitting right at the back. When we went to the front you were dancing and singing even though you didn’t know the words. I do wish I had taken you to see Blink182 sooner. I was going to take you and three friends for your birthday. You can still go; I’ll be beside you if you need me.
When you started secondary school you were overwhelmed with joy. You met new friends and you were loving it. Then you got into the wrong crowd. You would make fun of people, and started to smoke and I regularly had to drag you from gutters, drunk, and your father and I did everything we could to stop you but you didn’t listen you didn’t want to. You had to find out for yourself. When that Annie came around and took your necklace you new you had to make new friends. Then you met Jennifer, such a nice girl she is, and I am so glad that you two are still best friends. When you came home and said Jack had invited everyone to his house party I wasn’t sure about you going, but I know you can look after yourself.
You spent ages getting ready on Saturday; you were so annoyed that you had nothing to wear, so when your father came home with a beautiful purple dress you were so happy.
I remember the first time you got a dress, it was a red one, and you loved it so much you wanted to wear it everywhere you went. I still have that dress at home.
As we were driving down the road to Jack’s house my stomach was turning all over. I knew I had to let you go , you’re not my little angel anymore – you’re older and more mature, I knew you could look after yourself but it’s a mother’s place to worry about her child. When the car stopped I could see you were nervous but dying to go. “We’ll be back here at 11:30” I said, probably more that once. As the car door shut o watched you walk towards his house.
Your father and I went back home and what felt like hours and hours where only minutes. I decided to do something to take my mind of things. When my phone rang and I saw it was you I started to panic, it was only nine- you had only been at the party for just over an hour. You begged me and your father to pick you up now. I could hear you trembling and crying. I got your father and we raced down the roads to Jack’s house. All I heard next were the screams and bright lights.
I opened my eyes. In a hospital. How could I tell you your father and I were in an accident and didn’t have much time left? Your father died straight away, he didn’t feel a thing, and I want you to know my darling that he loved you so very much. I don’t have much time my angel. I want you to know I love you with all my heart, and look after yourself. Don’t worry about us; we will see you again in another life time. Someday. I love you my darling, I have to go now. Good-bye my sweet, and never be afraid, I am here with you always.

Love your mother. X

I thinks that was a sad story. for now i only got this story, if i get some more i will upload on the next post. thanks for reading. see yaa!!

TYPES OF RJ45? What is It

Today we going to disccuss about an RJ45 to connect to Internet
The cable for network card comes in two types. One with Shilded pair type cable with BNC pins. These are common cables found to connect two or more Win9x machines with lesser efforts and easy installations with BNC type Ethernet cards.
And another most faster in data-transfer is RJ45 type cable with eight (8) cores of wires with RJ45 pins. We are talking about this second type of Network cable. The pins on RJ45 are counted as follows.
Front view of the RJ45 MALE pin.
Pin's top with Locking clip
Pins are counted from Left to Right
IMP NOTE: The new Ethernet Card with both types of connectors, i.e., BNC and RJ45 is called combo-card. The Ethernet cards come with SETUP-DISK which helps you to toggle between the BNC and RJ45 interface setting. Old ethernet cards came with jumpers to do this task, but nowadays, the jumperless Ethernet Cards are needed to be set to RJ45 or BNC type through the SETUP program disk given with it. These SETUP programs do write on the NVRAM chip on the card. Read the README.TXT of such SETUP-DISKS or Card's MANUAL for more information. Also most important thing to keep in mind is that you need to setup the card with free I/O-port and free IRQ number of your system which are assigned to the card through that SETUP program of the card. For example, TYPE:RJ45, PORT:320, IRQ:10, etc. Please do not ask me further about this that I may not answer in this section further even though I do setup these cards perfectly everytime. Actually this needs more practical experience than theory. You may find the appropriate sites elsewhere on this subject on Internet.
The pinout I am giving is not any special kind but simply a straight parallel pins cable to connect any network system in FEMALE SOCKET of the NETWORK HUB. With compatible softwares this cable is both for 10Base-T and 100Base-TX cards. In simple words the MALE RJ45 PIN is inserted directly into Ethernet Cards of a a Network Computer which may be either a SERVER of a WORKSTATION to the NETWORK HUB.

NOTE: Both sides of RJ-45 (cat-5) cable should have the same Color-codes as given above, only then it is called straight network cable. Remember pin 1 and 2 are on one color pair. 3 and 6 are on second color pair of wire. These colors are technically approved and standardized set for straight RJ45 cat5 cable. But the color codes of the wires become irrelevant when you connect right number pin to right wire from pin to pin. Also its not guaranteed that you will get the perfect colored cores of cable in your city/area. Anyway this is straight cable, so no need to think much about it. Connect all pins straight with crimping tool even though the descriptions for some pins are not given as they are not used for common data transfer but for some other internal signaling. Believe me its not worth knowing for or may be I don't know. ;-)
To avoid the expensive hub unit when only two systems are to be connected to each other directly at Ethernet Cards with this cable called Crossover Cable. With compatible softwares this cable is both for 10Base-T and 100Base-TX cards. This MALE RJ45 PIN is inserted directly into Ethernet Cards of both the Machines.
100Base-Tx uses 4 wires (2pairs) to transmit data against the 100Base-T4 cable which uses all 8 wires (8pairs). Etherenet 100Base T4 is generally works at nearly 100mbps with standard 100mbps HUB.  But it works at nearly 200mbps with Network Switch (Extended Version of HUB).
